Yes, yes, I know I know, you have dreamt of the day you could access my longwinded rambles by the touch of your mobile device. You can stop cheering and applauding. The rumors are indeed true: I have decided to take my passion for writing on a more public platform.
… jokes.
I have decided to start journaling, on a platform of sorts (this here blog), and express some of my profound realizations and striking observations enveloping me at this time of development and growth.
”How profound does it get at age 17, Brynn?”, you ask.
That’s a really good question I have but little years to base relative profundity on. The answer has yet to be determined!
I understand that I currently stand in a pertinent time in my youthfulness, on the cusp of living by myself and becoming completely autonomous. This anticipation is not one that I fear, but instead one I await with eagerness. Eager to live out this path intended for me. Eager to fluke and discover something new. But most of all, I am so excited to meet new people. Not at all by means of replacement of the connections I have made already (the grand and the not-so), but to delve into the intricacies of personality, listen to new and unique testimonies, and lastly to cherish and nurture new companionships and alliances. My mind flutters every hour of the day dreaming about the future (regretfully I share this cliche). My ambitions become more and more transparent with age and I think those are fun thoughts to flutter about.
A large shift in my perspective has occurred just from senior year alone. These values I imagine will reveal themselves to you by the post, or perhaps able to discern them yourselves.
I don’t know how many people I will reach with these posts. But if I grab the attention of just one reader, just one kind soul that lends me their time, then I am simply happy I can share my journey with another. So if you are that one soul, hey, thanks for being here.
